One thing that this intimate wedding taught me is that love truly shines brightest when surrounded by those who matter most. These special gatherings are not just about the union of two people; they are about the coming together of family and friends in a shared celebration of love and connection.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple who chose to exchange their vows in a cozy, intimate setting in Port Moody, BC. Nestled near the tranquil shores of Buntzen Lake, the location was a perfect reflection of the couple’s desire for a wedding that felt both personal and meaningful.

What stood out to me most was the couple’s focus on what truly mattered to them: their love for each other and the bonds they share with their family and friends. The simplicity of the setting allowed these relationships to take centre stage, making every moment feel incredibly genuine and heartfelt.
