Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does.
Love is a battle,
love is a war;
love is a growing up.
– James Baldwin

Each time you love,
love as deeply as if it were forever
– only, nothing is eternal.
– Audre Lorde

Love’s greatest gift is its ability to make everything it touches sacred.
– Barbara De Angelis

Love is never lost.
If not reciprocated,
it will flow back and soften and purify the heart.
– Washington Irving

It doesn’t matter if the guy is perfect or the girl is perfect,
as long as they are perfect for each other.
– (Good Will Hunting)

Claire and Chris invited all their favourite people to celebrate their love on this one very special day in the late summer month. They are lovers of the outdoors so what better place to have their ceremony than the outdoors, with the most gorgeous mountain view. They tied the knot at Cleveland Dam, which is a gorgeous Dam just before you enter Grouse Mountain. This is probably one of my top favourite ceremony location of all times. Trees, mountains, water … all of my favourite element.

The couple had their first look at Whytecliff Park which is located along the rugged coastline of Howe Sound in West Vancouver. The park is surrounded by mountains and rocks. You can climb up to the top of Whyte Cliff for the most gorgeous view of the coast. We had the portrait and wedding party session done on location. One of the bridesmaid had injured herself during soccer practice a couple weeks before Claire’s wedding, but she was such a trooper and was able to walk around in crutches and looking gorgeous at the same time!

The couple had a cocktail reception at the Nomad Restaurant. It was a night filled with dancing, speeches, more dancing, some drinking, and awesome food and company.
